Linderman Gym Roof Collapses

Last tuesday, school officials noticed a bow in the roof at the Linderman Elementray School Gymnasium.  They used a drone to inspect the integrity of the building.  In the meantime, they decided to hold all athletic events off campus.  It finally collapsed Saturday, January 6th.  Photos can been seen below.  A solution is currently being looked into.

2017 Fall Mack Days Updates

November 12 th was the last day of the 2017 Fall Mack Days Fishing Event on Flathead Lake sponsored by the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes. Calmer waters and warmer temperatures the last week of the event were welcomed by the anglers. Many had been feeling the stress of the snow, wind, and cold temperatures of the previous week but they were still going out every day. One hundred and nineteen anglers turned in a total of 14,775 lake trout entries during the eight weeks of lake trout fishing. That number is the fourth largest total of all Fall Mack Days Events. Sheriff Chuck Curry Releases Letter From Cyber Terrorists

Sept 19, 2017 - Yesterday, Flathead County Sheriff Chuck Curry released new information about the Cyber Terror Attack aimed at Flathead Schools.  A Randsom Letter was received by members of the Columbia Falls School District laying out their demands. The group behind the attacks have been identified and are located outside the United States. In the most recent press release, Curry says, "We feel this is important to allow our community to understand that the threats were not real, and were simply a tactic used by the cyber extortionists to facilitate their demand for money."  Read The Letter
